Rating~ 4 stars.

Cole Steele moves back into his hometown and the ranch he lived on when his father dies and he founds out that he’s a guardian to a younger brother he never knew he had. He has no idea what and how to deal and care for a teenage brother especially when he trusts no one. Cole had a really bad childhood and the fact that his younger brother had gone through the same thing makes him feel intensely guilty that he was not there for him.  Cole’s one of the those heroes that women want but men hate.

Maia Armstrong is a drifter she has not yet found a place where she feels she could belong, she also a vet who I am going to call a animal whisperer because of her gift. She trusted the wrong guy in the past and feels hesitant about doing it again. She’s also loves drumming. Maia is a very strong and independent female who cares deeply about others.

I enjoyed Cole and Maia relationship. There relationship was one of those instant chemistry/attraction from the moment they met. Cole wants to know more about Maia a female who not only refuses to go out with him but sees through him. Maia of course does not want to get involved with anybody especially since she will be moving on to another place soon. But soon circumstances bring them closer and Maia & Cole can’t help but fall for each other. The romance is sweet and the plot fast paced with enough sexy times that it leaves feeling happy and with a smile.

I really enjoyed this and would recommend for a cozy winter read. Happy Reading!

P.s I did not know that this was a re-release when I requested it from net-galley.
