Can you fall in love with someone you've never even met?
Hailey Taylor Emery has a hunch that her favorite client at Fetch--an anonymous virtual assistant service--is actually hockey star Matt Eriksson.
Although it's against the rules for her to check his file, she's 95% sure she spends at least part of each day texting with her lifelong crush and catering to his every need. Still nursing a wounded heart thanks to her recent breakup, Hailey is perfectly content with some harmless online flirting...until she has to meet her client. Face to face. Cue: utter panic.
Matt Eriksson is no stranger to heartbreak. He's still not over the destruction of his marriage, and it sucks to be the only guy on the team who knows the truth--that hockey and long-term relationships are a toxic mix. He barely sees his kids, and dealing with his ex makes him feel insane. The only person in his life who seems to understand is someone who won't show her pretty face.
But it's nothing that a pair of fourth row hockey seats can't fix. Hailey can't resist the offer. Matt can't resist Hailey. Good thing he doesn't have to. Fire up the kiss cam!
Warning: Contains rabid hockey fans, misunderstood dick pics, hockey players at the opera and exploding ovaries.

Really enjoyed this one! This is the second book in the Wags series by Sarina Bowen and Elle Kennedy and it’s just as funny as the first book.

Matthew Eriksson “Snipes” is the Toronto team’s hockey star and he happens to be the client of one Hailey Taylor Emery “Hottie” company called Fetch. Fetch is an online virtual assistance company, the company you call when you forget to do things and remember them at the last minute or to more important things like booking things for work etc. Matt has been using Fetch since his divorce almost two years ago and Hailey has been his assistant since then. While Hailey isn’t certain who her client actually is, she has her suspicions (especially since she happens to be a HUGE fan of hockey and Matt). Their first face to face is the definition of meet cute.

While it may not seem like Matt and Hailey have anything in common, they do starting with the fact that they are both recent divorcees and that the divorce wasn’t their idea. I just really liked them as individuals, they both very nice people, they were very loving and caring individuals who hadn’t yet met the right person yet. Matt loved his daughters and I loved however much crap with his ex he had to muddle through, his no.1 priority was his children. Hailey was a great heroine, she genuinely loved her job and was a wonderfully warm and sweet woman. Each of their divorce had done a number on their confidence so they both felt insecure, with Matt (because of his ex-wife) he feels like he’ll disappoint Hailey in some way due to because he’s away from home a lot and she’ll leave him. While Hailey has never even actually been with anyone apart from her ex-husband who was her best friend since they were children.

I adored Matt and Hailey together!!! There were so awkward at first (especially Hailey), despite the attraction they felt towards each other which was understandable because after being divorced it’s difficult to head back or even want to enter the scene of dating. They were just so adorable, they had fab chemistry, funny and witty banter (I loved the humour) and were just the right partner for each other.

Other things I loved:

I loved that Hailey found it a bit difficult to be around Matt at first, I mean you go from being a fan of someone having a crush on them just they are a star to actually talking to them and being with them is very different and can be disconcerting (kind of like me every time I meet an author, stammering and not making much sense). I loved Matt’s twin daughters, they were so cute and all the other WAGs of the team members they were great! They were just a nice bunch of woman who adored their men and were also very welcoming to other women. I loved Matt trying to be the best boyfriend he could be. I loved the banter between Matt and Hailey. I still don’t understand much of Blake Riley but I love him regardless. I loved that their relationship felt real, mature and that wasn’t over the top drama. Rufus was cuteee!

Overall, a great funny light contemporary about two divorced individuals who found their happily ever after!
